My friends and I are going on a trip to Ireland in January in Belfast to study for a 3-week long course (we are only staying in Ireland for a week). What nearby places should we check out? What are the best, inexpensive bars?

I haven’t yet been to Belfast or Northern Ireland but I must say if you get the chance to, make your way to Giant’s Causeway which is located in County Antrim. Antrim is really beautiful, see this and this. The Royal Avenue may be a good place to check out in Belfast for some shopping I’m sure there’s also many good pubs around. You don’t really have to look hard for a pub in Ireland they more or less find you. Because Belfast is a big city they may be a little pricey but I wouldn’t let that stop you from going out, having a few drinks, and enjoying the live music!

A page devoted to Ireland. I have never been to Ireland :( but all of my family came from there. :) So I am throughly obsessed with Ireland. You're blog is beautiful. I can't wait to see more beautiful pictures of that wonderful country of Ireland!

I was in N. Ireland this summer. It’s so beautiful there. I absolutely loved it. Your blog makes me miss it a whole a bunch but I love it.
